Ollang, a US-based company that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to localize audio content in more than 60 languages, has announced its expansion into the Indian market. In addition to establishing a presence in the country, the company is seeking to build a pool of AI-Dubbing experts and professionals in closed captions and subtitles.
Ollang’s AI-powered content localization platform, OLabs, allows TV channels, online video streaming channels, production companies, e-learning platforms, and content creators to reach a global audience with their audio and visual content. The platform is seeking more than 1000 AI dubbing demos and around 100 active AI dubbers to work on projects from around the world in various languages, including Spanish, French, and Turkish.
Further elaborating about the same, Ebru Yıldırım, Co-founder & CEO of Ollang said, “The first step is translation, which is done by a professional translator and the second step is AI Dubbing, wherein the AI Dubbing editors fix the voices and lip sync. It is also an excellent earning opportunity for professionals working or aspiring to work in the niche future-oriented domain, as they may earn up to $120 for working on approximately one hour of content.”
She further said that even as the demand currently is maximum for English AI-Dubbing, the growth-oriented company is looking to scale up and include a few more languages over the next six months. “The major task is to ensure lip sync that is done with AI, otherwise a simple dub makes the same content jarring to the eyes due to lack of sync between audio and video. Furthermore, the AI-enabled dubbing process ensures quick turnaround time for projects, reliable work and scope for better results.
