ITC’s Classmate has launched a nationwide multi-skill competition for school students title’Classmate Allrounder 2022′. The competition is designed to promote the holistic development of students and help them become well-rounded individuals, or “all-rounders.”
The contest gives students the chance to explore their potential, develop and showcase their skills, and be recognized for their achievements. The competition aligns with one of the fundamental principles of the Indian government’s education policy, which is to recognize, identify, and foster the unique capabilities of each student by sensitizing teachers and parents to promote the student’s holistic development in both academic and non-academic areas. Classmate aims to reach approximately 300,000 students in over 1,000 schools across 13 cities through this initiative.
Classmate All Rounder will be held in three levels: school, city, and national, with each level featuring a series of competitions that will evaluate multiple skills across academics, co-curricular activities, and extracurricular activities. It is open to all students from grades 5 to 10 in schools that register, with students in grades 5 to 7 placed in the junior category and students in grades 8 to 10 in the senior category. Students will be judged on multiple parameters, including academics, co-curricular activities, fitness, talent, emotional intelligence, intelligence, digital skills, community focus, and life skills.
To raise awareness about the competition among students, Classmate has released a video on its social media channels.
Top 4 winners (2 from Junior category & 2 from Senior category) in the National Round will be awarded the title of the Classmate All Rounders 2022 and will each receive a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/-.
