According to TAM AdEx-Report on Digital Advertising for Jul-Sep’22, the medium saw 13pc fall in ad insertion. Continuous drop is seen during Apr-Jun’22 and Jul-Sep’22 compared to Jan-Mar’22.
In the Leading Sectors during Jul-Sep’22, Services topped the list by 44pc share of ad insertions followed by Education with 13pc share. Personal Accessories and Telecom Products were the new entrants in Top 10 list, Banking/Finance/Investment sector observed positive rank shift. Top two sectors together added more than 55pc share of ad insertions. Auto moved up by 3 positions to rank six.
Among Leading Categories, Ecom-Online Shopping category moved up by one position and achieved top spot in Jul-Sep’22. Four out of ten categories observed positive rank shift in Jul-Sep’22 over Apr-Jun’22. Top 10 categories added 47pc share of Digital ad insertions. Five out of Top 10 categories were from Services sector.
Among the Leading Advertisers, Amazon Online India maintained its top position in Jul-Sep’22 over Apr-Jun’22. Seven out of 10 advertisers saw positive rank shift in Jul-Sep’22. Four among the Top 10 Advertisers were new entrants. Top 10 Advertisers contributed 17pc share of Digital Ad Insertions.
In the Leading Brands during Jul-Sep’22, Amazon.in was the most advertised Digital brand followed by Grammarly Keyboard. There were total 57 K+ brands present on Digital. Six of the Top 10 brands were from Services sector. Top 10 Brands contributed 13pc share of Digital Ad Insertions.
270+ categories registered positive growth in the Top growing categories. Social Advertisements-Government had the biggest rise in Ad Insertions among the growing categories, followed by Cellular Phones-Smart Phones during Jul-Sep’22 compared to Apr-Jun’22. In terms of growth pc, Corporate-Durables category witnessed highest growth pc of 15.7 times in the Top 10 list.
23 K+ Advertisers & 29 K+ Brands Exclusively advertised during Jul-Sep’22 compared to Apr-Jun’22. In comparison to Apr-Jun’22, Boxinternet ranked first among Exclusive Advertisers and Brands in Jul-Sep’22.
Among the Leading Web Publishers during Jul-Sep’22, YouTube alone had 26pc share of Ad Insertions. Excluding YouTube, Rediff.com was the leading publisher in the list in terms of ad insertions.
Desktop Display topped with 41pc share of Digital Ad Insertions during Jul-Sep’22 followed by Mobile Display on 2nd position with 29pc share. Ad Network was the most popular method for promoting Ads on Digital platforms, accounting for 51pc of total Ad Insertions, followed by Programmatic method with 29pc share in Jul-Sep’22.
HTML5 ads grabbed highest insertions with 44pc share on Digital followed by Banner with 31pc share in second position and Video in 3rd position with 25pc share during Jul-Sep’22.
