This reads like a list of newsmakers from the week gone by.
#ElonMusk
The high profile takeover of Twitter by Elon Musk was right up there in the social chatter. Musk fuelled the fire a bit more by walking in with a sink and a Tweet that let the reality sink in. That was before he fired the CEO, CFO and legal head, not sure who else and in what order. Voices hoping for the return of Donald Trump are getting louder. Meantime, Musk is making the right noises to woo advertisers to the blue bird that he claims to have freed.

#ArvindKejriwal
The cartoon below says it better than a thousand words could. Kejriwal just hijacked the Hindutva plank from under the BJP’s feet. I’m not sure how successful this will turn out to be in terms of garnering votes, but it was an audacious move to ask for Hindu deities to be imprinted on rupee notes. It certainly made news and generated buzz.

Ground Report: Priests, devotees across several cities back demand to have photos of Goddess Laxmi and Ganesha on Indian rupee notes.

#ViratKohli #SurVir
King Kohli was in the spotlight and when he puts up a show, it’s worth watching. The stage was an #IndVsPak T20 World Cup special and did he light up Diwali! He also got hundreds of people writing on leadership lessons and the like on platforms like LinkedIn. Kohli also made a wonderful comment that reminded us of the grace of Tendulkar and Dhoni. Asked about him being a G.O.A.T., Kohli said only two people fit that bill according to him: Tendulkar and Richards.

#Reflect
There are stories of real life plus-size dancers who wow us with their graceful moves. Now, here comes an animated show on Disney. The comments are worth reading, if only to understand that there is a societal problem with plus-sized people and their right to dance. Let them be. Well done, Disney.

#RishiSunak
Here’s hoping his tenure is longer than the previous Prime Minister’s. It’s a hot seat and it’s understandably making a lot of noise back home, thanks to Sunak’s connection(s) with India. Jokes are also flying thick and fast on WhatsApp. Whether it was the India-born Kalpana Chawla or California-born Kamala Harris, we just need an Indian connection to celebrate their successes as our own.
I would like to clarify, My sand sculpture was on newly appointed UK PM @RishiSunak. As an Artist I have tried my best to portray Mr Rishi Sunak through my sand art. It was my only intention to congratulate Mr Sunak and nothing else. pic.twitter.com/4TgjDtIPWM

Brilliant to drop into tonight’s Diwali reception in No10.
I will do everything I can in this job to build a Britain where our children and our grandchildren can light their Diyas and look to the future with hope.
Happy #Diwali everyone! pic.twitter.com/g4yhAGhToz

The first test of leadership is to turn up. The new PM's decision not to attend COP27 makes a mockery of any Government claims on continued climate leadership – and what a shameful way to end the UK's COP Presidency https://t.co/zUUD7HnNWz

The protests in Iran continue. The appeals for support continue.

Hey @elonmusk we'd greatly appreciate it if you could add Hashflags for #MahsaAmini and #مهسا_امینی on @Twitter . The Islamic Republic's so called "cyber army" has been hard at work to create alternate hashtags in order to undermine Iranians' fight for freedom.
Tnx in advance.
