As per BARC data, News18 India has outperformed top general entertainment channels with a cumulative reach of 8.7 crore (BARC; Cume reach ‘000: HSM; All 15+; Avg. Wk 37-40’22).
According to BARC data, the cumulative reach of STAR Plus stood at 7.6 crore, whereas the cumulative reach of Sony and Zee Tv stood at 6.56 crore and 6.52 crore respectively.

This week too News18 India has continued its dominance as the leader in the national Hindi news channel segment with 15.9% (Wk. 40’22, 24 hrs, TG: 15+, HSM), as compared to TV9 Bharatvarsh’s 13.0%, India TV’s 12.6% and AajTak’s 12.5% market share.
The channel has done exceedingly well in the most sought after 9 -10 PM prime time band.
News18 India’s Kishore Ajwani has 18.4% share as compared to Aajtak’s Sudhir Chaudhary who is at number 4 position with a market share of 14.1%. (2100-2200hrs Wk. 40’22, 24 hrs, TG: 15+, HSM).
Additionally, during the prime time band of 9-10 pm, News18 India garners almost three times the viewership than that of ABP news, which stood at 6.1%.
