Ogilvy Mumbai was crowned Agency of the Year at the APAC Effie Awards 2022, winners of which were announced at a gala on 8 September. The agency also snared the Grand Effie for ‘Not Just A Cadbury Ad 2.0’.
The marketing effectiveness awards saw Ogilvy bag the Agency Network of the Year title with 4 Golds, 5 Silvers and 7 Bronzes.
Indian agencies took home 13 awards, including 3 Golds, 7 Silvers and 3 Bronze Effies.
Ogilvy Mumbai’s ‘Not Just A Cadbury Ad 2.0’ for Mondelēz India bagged 3 Golds in Crisis – Response/Critical Pivot – Products, Engaged Community and Seasonal Marketing categories. It bagged a Silver in ‘Positive Change; Social Good: Brands – Products’ category for ‘Stop The Beauty Test’ for Hindustan Unilever’s Dove.
In the categories of ‘Seasonal Marketing’ and ‘Asia Pacific Brands,’ Ogilvy Gurgaon’s entry, ’Inverting Conventions To Win’ for Coca-Cola India won a Silver and a Bronze respectively.
The Womb Communications was named Independent Agency of the Year. The agency won four Silver awards in the Healthcare, Asia Pacific Brands, Business-To-Business, and Youth Marketing categories. The agency also bagged one Bronze in the ‘Seasonal Marketing’ category for Campus Activewear.
Leo Burnett’s ‘Keep Girls In School’ for P&G Hygiene and Health Care earned a Silver in the ‘Positive Change’ category and McCann New Delhi won a Bronze in the ‘Sustained Success’ category for ‘Creating India’s Coffee Generation’ for Nestlé India.
