The Indian Short video platform Moj is witnessing a surge in edutainment content on its platform, with over 18 lakh creators actively participating in #LearnOnMoj, resulting in approximately 35 billion+ views on nearly 3.5 million user-generated content in the last few months. Creators on Moj dabble in various edutainment categories like language skills, digital marketing, financial guidance, money handling, spoken English, entrepreneurial tips, and business counseling, among others.
Under the campaign, users can filter the content of their interest and find specific topics by using hashtags like #LearnEnglishOnMoj, to learn English words from other language phrases; #Learnandsave to learn money management and financial tips, and #FunWithFlags to improve one’s knowledge of countries and their national flags. Recently, Moj has also started a Live stream classroom – #Learnin30mins where users can learn and clear their doubts regarding complicated subjects such as Math, English, current affairs, and finance in a snapping 30 mins by an expert.
On the 19th of May, Moj kick-started creator challenges under categories such as English translation, lens-based quizzes, Financial tricks, and GK and announced five winners on the 18th of July, who won prizes such as DSLR camera, tablets, laptops, and Amazon vouchers. The challenge received participation from 226K creators resulting in 1.4M user-generated content.
