Amazon Prime Music is set to launch a musical bonanza for the listeners on Amazon Prime Day which is on 23rd and 24th July this year.
These are global playlist which are a celebration of new, trending and viral music, which are being launched in two languages on the service, Hindi and Telugu. The Hindi playlist titled Desi Vibes will star popular artists like Shreya Ghoshal, Armaan Malik, A. R. Rahman, Jubin Nautiyal, Amaal Mallik and many more, headlining from Bollywood, Indian Pop and independent pop culture in Hindi music. As of today, nearly 35-40% of weekly streams in Hindi on Amazon Prime Music are from new releases, with over 40% of Hindi customers interacting with new releases. The Telugu playlist titled Fully Tolly, is a one stop destination for the most recent, trending, and top requested Telugu songs, a destination for artists and labels to vie for. These playlists are launched across global locales simultaneously where Indian music is widely consumed like the UK, US, Canada, Germany and Australia.
Recognizing and celebrating emerging independent music culture is Fresh Indie, a brand-new addition to Amazon Prime Music and a one-stop destination that is designed to feature new independent music and emerging artists through a singular playlist. This 20+track playlist will feature the latest Indie music and its subgenres from across languages in India.
Another offering is the Artist of the Month Catalogue, a fitting tribute to evergreen artists and their music across languages. Most noteworthy, iconic award-winning artists and their songs are under AOTM. AOTM aims at users rediscovering their favourite artists through a selection of handpicked albums and playlists. Through this offering, Amazon Prime Music will continue to delight music fans with premium content along with features like offline download, lyrics & Alexa support, available ad-free, on Prime Music and will be launched for English, Punjabi and Tamil languages during Prime Day.
Amazon Prime Music is also offering Rs 150 cashback on Amazon.in to Prime members who stream their first music or podcast on the Amazon Prime Music App and shop during Prime day.
