Chennai: Short-video platform Moj has announced the winners of regional short video in-app challenge #MojPannuHitKannu in Tamil Nadu. The campaign aimed to discover gifted creators from all over Tamil Nadu. For the talent hunt, participants uploaded short videos on Moj showcasing their unique abilities, creativity and interests representing the quintessential Tamilian way of life and culture. Hosted by a popular TV host and face of the campaign – VJ Rakshan, the talent hunt garnered 437K entries across multiple cities in Tamil Nadu, amassing 7.9 billion in-app video plays.
Praveen Kumar A, Vetrivel, Vaishu Jayachandhiran, Gracy M, Seenivasan, Jemisha Mol, Harish Kumar S, Tulsy Raman, Harish Nambirajan and Jagabar Sathik were among the shining stars of Tamil Nadu who stood out among other talented creators on the Moj app owing to their engaging and high-quality entries. These ten creators were awarded a monetary prize of INR 1 lakh each.
The 52-day-long talent hunt, which began on April 11th, witnessed the spirit of Tamil Nadu through a variety of genres such as dancing, lip-sync, comedy and more in their video entries. The campaign was an instant success with the masses due to the local connection, and participants were seen creating content using trending hashtags like #MojPannuHitkannu and #MojTamil.
