Dentsu Webchutney won 7 Gold, 9 Silver and 2 Bronze Pencils besides Best of Discipline in Radio & Audio at the One Show 2022 awards ceremony in New York. Winners were announced on 19th and 20th May.
All the agency’s wins were for ‘The Unfiltered History Tour’ for VICE World News. It won Gold in the categories of Branded Entertainment (AR, VR, MR), Design (Digital Design), Direct Marketing (Experiential – In-Person Events), Interactive, Online & Mobile (Physical Product & Mobile Integration; AR, VR, MR), Radio & Audio (Online – Branded Podcast; Experiential Radio & Audio).
FCB India won the Fusion Pencil for ‘The Nominate Me Selfie’, working with FCB Chicago, for The Times of India and Political Shakti. The Fusion Pencil is billed as the industry’s first global award to recognize work that incorporates DEI principles and underrepresented groups in both creative content and the team that made it. The agency also won a Silver along with UNAIDS and Goodmorning Films in the Health & Wellness (Film) category for ‘The Mirror – See Me As I Am’.
The other agencies to win metal from India were Ogilvy (2 Bronze with Mondelez) for Shah Rukh Khan-My-Ad, DDB Mudra (1 Bronze with Vanilla Films) for McDonald’s EatQual and VMLY&R Commerce (1 Bronze with HUL) for Lifebuoy Hackwashing.
