Mumbai : Thomas Xavier, chairman and NCD, Orchard Advertising has decided to leave the agency. Xavier’s last day at the agency will be 31 December, post which he’ll be pursuing his own venture labelled ‘Transformer’.
Transformer is Xavier’s personal project through which he looks to mentor young fast-trackers who see themselves as CEOs in the near future.
Speaking on the development, Xavier said, “I have been with Orchard for 16 years and have seen the growth of advertising. I believe that people of my vintage can contribute to business creativity in ways other than advertising. I’ll be looking to take my mentorship programme forward. I’ve also got concepts in business creativity for clients in different areas such as new product ideas.”
Prior to Orchard Advertising, he has also worked with McCann Erickson, Leo Burnett and Mudra.
