Erode: Colors Tamil, the fastest-growing GEC of Tamil Nadu honoured women achievers who are stalwarts in their profession on 27th March Sunday, with the Mangayir Thiruvizha 2022. The unique event flagged off with an auspicious start at Erode, the hub of textiles and turmeric, from 9 am. Mangayir Thiruvizha witnessed an engagement of over 1000 women registering for this event.
The ceremony Commenced by VJ Pappu and VJ Dharshini as the emcees, interacting with the audiences while welcoming several prominent artists from Colors Tamil namely- Actor Nakshathra, Actor Shyam, Actor-Comedian Nanjil Vijayan, Actor Pavithra Gowda, Actor Amaljith, and Actor Sameer.
The Mangayir Thiruvizha strived to connect with the audiences with a variety of performances, contests, songs, mimicry, lucky draws, giveaways, and prizes; all weaved around themes from Colors Tamil’s many fiction shows. Following the event, women also applied to join the Golden Petal Club, an exclusive club that would allow them to contact the channel, express their thoughts and feedback, and enjoy special perks.
The channel furthermore aimed to recognize and reward women for their service to society by presenting nominees with a prestigious award. The Thiruvizha concluded with winner announcements and a crowd dance.
