Mumbai: Global entertainment studio, International Art Machine, helmed by Amazon Video founder, Roy Price, signs Film and Television executive Karishma Naina Sharma to head International Television and bring their global vision to life.
As Head of International Television/OTT, Karishma will bring her vast experience in the Indian and global marketplace to help curate a creative vision with an international perspective. Previously within India, Sharma worked as the Head of Development and Creative Vice President for Balaji Motion Pictures where she developed and produced over 20 feature films under Television veteran Ekta Kapoor and Sameer Nair .
Having worked with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry internationally as well as in India, Karishma will continue with her passion to melt borders and use her extensive network to bring cultures, stories, talent and ideas together in the world of entertainment with studio International Art Machine.
International Art Machines’ recent entry into India made waves with an impressive slate of OTT shows and collaborations which Karishma helped create. They begin their high-end slate with Amish Tripathi’s Shiva Trilogy and collaborations with Shekhar Kapur, Preity G Zinta, Dibakar Banerjee, Suparn S Varma and more to be announced. Steering the studio within Asia, Karishma who will be based globally and within Mumbai and is ready to hit the ground running and take International Art Machine to its next phase of growth.
