New Delhi: magicpin, India’s leadiing online platform for shopping at local stores, launches a new campaign: Magic Bahar Hai Bro. The campaign urge consumers to rediscover the joy in shopping from local stores.
The 2 ad TV and digital campaign featuring Vijay Raaz in yet another erratic role could be spotted during the recently finished India-SA one day series and the India-WI cricket series. The campaign has already amassed a cumulative 15M views across channels.
The campaign was conceptualized by creative duo effenjey and magipin’s internal teams, directed by Amit Satyaveer Singh and produced by Twenty Seventh Films.
The first film in the series shows Vijay Raaz embroiled in a street fight and a guy recording the video on his phone. The second one shows him entering the street in the most unexpected vehicle you can imagine. While the setup is on the streets, the camera eventually turns to reveal the real magic of magicpin.
As Ankit Kumar, head of brand and marketing, magicpin says, “magicpin has always believed in a straight-talking, cut-to-the-chase tone of communicating. The new campaign is again based on a simple insight, embedded in our product: magicpin helps bring the magic in local retail and shopping from the street to the phone.”
effenjey, the creative duo added, “The street is where the stuff is real, where the fun actually happens. Coincidentally, it’s also where you get great discounts, deals, and whatnots if you use magicpin. So, we just used one to sell the other.”
