Mumbai: Vikram Sakhuja, Madison Media & OOH Group CEO has replaced IPG Mediabrands India CEO Shashi Sinha as Chairman of BARC India’s Technical Committee, as per media reports.
In his 30 year career, Sakhuja has been the global CEO of Maxus, the CEO of GroupM South Asia and Mindshare South Asia. He started his career with P&G and Coca-Cola in Media, Market Research and Brand Marketing. He also set up the marketing department at Star India (Newscorp).
He has been part of several industry body boards/ committees including ASCI, ABC, RSCI, BARC and FICCI. He is currently the President of Ad Club Bombay, Chairman EFFIES, Chairman IRS Technical Committee, Co-chairman IBF-AAAI sub-committee
The Technical committee also comprises Gauravjeet Singh- former Hindustan Unilever Head Media Services – South Asia and media veteran Rohit Gupta, President, Sony Pictures Networks India.
