New Delhi: The thriller web series ‘Aghaat’ from Dish TV India Limited’s in-house OTT platform – WATCHO – has won three prestigious honours for Best TV/Web Series at the Cannes World Film Festival, Vegas Movie Awards, and the London Independent Film Awards. Soon after the release, the five-episode exhilarating web series has also been nominated for Best Web-TV at Hollywood International Golden Age Festival as well as Official Selection at the Montreal Independent Film Festival. Aghaat also became the finalist in New York International Film Awards.

Aghaat is exclusively available for WATCHO subscribers in two languages – Bangla and Hindi (dubbed). Directed by Zayed Rizwan, the new series follows the story of Karimi, who is believed to be running secret cells in Sydney, along with the Anti-Terrorism Squad following intelligence and making interrogations. The five-episode series is a thrilling story full of twists and turns and is set to keep viewers at the edge of their seats. Produced by Arijit Shawon and Miah Tareque and Co-produced& executed by Nflicks Pvt Ltd, the new web series stars DipaliAkther Tania, Raanveer, Irfan Sajjad, Bipasha Kabir, and Nadim Accari. Shot in Australia, the series features prominent locations such as the Sydney Opera House, Darling Harbour, Garrie Beach, North Sydney, Lakemba, Central Business District, among other locations.
