Promax is hosting the second Digital Reinvent show- ‘OTT and Digital Marketing Innovation Conference and Awards on October 8th. The event will witness a panel discussion on the topic ‘OTT is proving to be a game changer for delivering compelling stories and performances. The panel discussion will be moderated by Raj Nayak, Founder & Managing Director, House of Cheer. Panelists include the director- Nikhil Advani and actors- Mohit Raina & Shreya Dhanwanthry of Mumbai Diaries 26/11- Indian Hindi-language medical drama streaming television series on Amazon Prime Video.
The session by Raj Nayak will delve deep into what makes OTT as a platform so compelling that – viewers and content creators are experimenting/diversifying their entertainment experience with new genres.
The session will further discuss how Advani has broken the traditional formulaic method of storytelling with Mumbai Diaries 26/11. And the factors that have made Mohit Raina to take a leap with OTT. Further the session will discuss Shreya Dhanwanthary’s journey through the three-path breaking OTT shows back-to-back – The Family Man, Scam 1992 and Mumbai Diaries 26/11.
The session will further discuss the content development process and how that relationship works between a creator/producer and what an OTT platform requires. Mohit Raina and Shreya Dhanwanthary will speak on how fulfilling or challenging is the creative process with OTT for them. Further Advani will elaborate on the process of creating for OTT – empowering, challenging and fulfilling.
As closing remarks, the panel will discuss how all formats of entertainment will co-exist and thrive because the audience is equally diverse with evolving tastes and preferences.
