Chennai: Nippon Paint (India), Asia’s leading paint manufacturer, hosted an exclusive virtual ‘Meet n Greet’ session with the Chennai Super Kings players last evening. The CSK players, including Suresh Raina, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sam Curran, and Shardul Thakur, graced the occasion and met some lucky fans. The selected fans are the winners of #GameOnWithNipponPaint social media contest and the key dealer partners of Nippon Paint from Chennai and Kanchipuram.
The CSK players were joined by Mr. Mahesh Anand, President – Nippon Paint India (Decorative Division), and Mr. Mark Titus – Director Marketing, Nippon Paint India (Decorative Division) in felicitating the winners of #GameOnWithNipponPaint. The fans received a rare opportunity to engage in a fun interaction with their favourite cricketers. The fans also received CSK Blobby (Nippon Paint’s mascot) and CSK face masks as souvenirs of their meeting. The event was live-streamed at the GRT Hotel, Chennai.
The contest was about virtually showcasing love and support for Team CSK in the most creative way – be it dance, songs, art, or make-up. The fans who won the contest had to answer some CSK trivia questions.
Speaking about the event, S Mahesh Anand, President – Nippon Paint (India) Private Limited (Decorative Division), commented, “This is the fourth time Nippon Paint has associated with CSK, and the brand association has only strengthened since the inception. We are thrilled to have hosted another ‘Meet n Greet’ for some lucky #YellowArmy CSK fans. Though the fans could not meet the CSK players in person this time, the session was fun, engaging and interactive. It was wonderful to see Raina, Shardul, Ruturaj and Curran’s love for CSK fans and Chennai shine through in the interactions. These ‘Meet n Greets’ are our way of sharing with the customers and dealers our mutual love for the men in yellow. We wish best of luck to the team for the upcoming matches.”
