National Film Award Winning Production House Bhargava Pictures and Daana Dharma Charitable Trust, a Sanatana Hindu NGO actively involved in helping people, education, temple restoration and other Dharmic Seva Joined hands to bring the animation series “Sriman Rama”.
Targeted for OTT/Broadcast release, Sriman Rama is the childhood engagements of Prince Rama along with his brothers- Lakshman, Bharat & Straughn and friends Guha, Suyajna along with sister Shanta. As much as Krishna in his little avatar, we hardly have any such content on Rama. So probably this is for the first time an animation series is made on the childhood of Rama.
The trailer is an action-packed extravaganza with a mesmerizing background score depicting the extraordinary archery skills of Rama in an open auditorium with the crowd cheering and hailing. Kids will immediately fall in love with him for the cuteness of the character and his exemplary skill. The trailer also reveals the other characters – his brothers and pals. The music score is rendered by Vandana Mazan. The production is done by Hyderabad-based Inani Media, Entitled Arts and I Perform Media Services.
“We are quite happy to release the trailer and the response is tremendous. Rama is an epitome of the greatest human being ever walked not just in this part of the world but on this planet. We call him Maryada Purushotham, which means greatest human being. His unparalleled qualities, as mentioned by sage Valmiki in his Ramayan are still as relevant today as they were some thousands of years ago.
A drop of Rama in every child makes them a better human being tomorrow and hence a better society. He walked across the length and breadth of this land and he is our history, that we cherish for a life time. We wish you give our kids a companion who will care, share and guide them through their life in all conditions. That is what his life teaches us. Along with the season 1, we have plans to release the merchandise – 100% make in India toys, online game, comics and graphic novels and other spinoffs (3D) as well. We have in negotiations with a couple of OTTs to release the series sometime around this Children’s day the details will be announced soon. I thank Daana Dharma for backing this project” sums up the Creator/Director/Producer Satyakashi Bhargava.
“It’s our first venture in this format and we are excited. Visual medium is a best way to inculcate some good values and understand our roots among the children. Sriman Rama is our maiden venture in animation and happy to collaborate with SatyaKashi Bhargava. The initial response for the trailer is tremendous across kids and parents not just in India but Indian communities across Europe, Canada and US. While continuing our regular activities in Education, Health, Food for the needy and other Temple and Dharmic activities, we will involve in more projects like this ahead.” Concludes Venkat Vutukuri, Founder Daana Dharma Charitable Trust.
