According to sources, Dentsu’s Social Advisory arm Indeed is one of the most profitable divisions for the Japanese multinational in India.
Sahil Arora is currently serving as the Senior Vice President & Head of CSR Indeed, the Social Advisory arm of Dentsu India. Sahil has been instrumental in establishing the CSR practice at Dentsu in India, building it from scratch to a $150 Mn practice in less than 3 years.
Indeed is regarded as India’s new age CSR Consultancy, which focuses on Brand-Led CSR, a concept that helps companies not only to invest responsibly but develop their societal image and brand value.
Sahil has expertise in areas including development cooperation, education, Road Safety, Prevention of Substance Abuse, Eradication of Hunger and Technology Aids for Social Development etc. He is a seasoned professional in the domain of sustainability & corporate strategy, providing 360-degree consultancy on ideation, conceptualization, execution, and strategy on supporting Sustainable Development Goals and sustainable supply chains support to accounts like HSBC, Diageo, Pernod Ricard, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, MG Motors, Vodafone, Idea, Ashok Leyland, CROCS, SocieteGenerale, L&T, Parle, ITC, Apollo Tyres etc. among many others.
In his previous assignments, Sahil has been a part of the senior leadership teams at Diageo and IL&FS, he also served as an economist with the Ministry of External Affairs managing areas like South-South cooperation and International Technology Transfers.
