The 3rd season of Bigg Boss Malayalam was suspended following the directives of the Tamil Nadu Health Department after few crew members tested corona positive in the shooting set.
According to media reports, around six people tested Covid positive in the shooting set of Bigg Boss 3 Malayalam. The police and Health & Revenue Department officials visited the Bigg Boss Malayalam 3 sets in EVP Film City, Chennai. The Tamil Nadu revenue department on May 19th sealed the set of Malayalam Bigg Boss season 3 for not following the Covid protocols and directed the team to suspend the shoot immediately.
The Mohanlal hosted Bigg Boss Malayalam is aired on Asianet. The third season of Bigg Boss Malayalam started telecast on February 14 with 14 contestants entering the house. The show witnessed multiple eliminations and wild card entries. Eight contestants are currently left in the place who are competing for the winner position.
The show is aired on Asianet from Monday to Friday at 9:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday at 9 Pm.
The second season of Bigg Boss Malayalam was also canceled on the 75th day due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Last week, Bigg Boss Kannada 8, hosted by Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep and aired on Colors Kannada, canceled the ongoing season due to the surge in Covid-19 cases.
