As the second wave of Covid-19 is hitting the nation, The Publicis Groupe has robust mechanisms for immediate and urgent assistance to employees and their families.
The groupe has set up a ‘round-the-clock task force’ to ensure employees and their families get the necessary help they need at this time. The Task Force has entered into contracts with several healthcare providers, which will allow employees and dependents to gain better access to an extensive network of hospitals and healthcare facilities across India. This also helps the employees get vaccinated at a location near them. The group has set up a direct line to a doctor by phone, 24 hours a day.
Publicis Groupe has also announced a Community Channel- a platform for employees to share information, and help, with a support line.
The other measures Publicis has taken in terms of employee support includes Augmented sick leave and healthcare coverage to cover any COVID Care treatment received at home through the health insurance provider.
The Groupe will cover the cost of vaccination for employees and dependents. They also provide support with hotels and other accommodation for employees who need a safe space to quarantine.
The group also offers 24X7 Counselling support and comprehensive wellness solutions to assist in mental and emotional wellbeing.
Speaking to Medianews4u, Anupriya Acharya, South Asia CEO, Publicis Groupe, said, “Publicis has an inherent people-first culture and our absolute priority and focus during this period has been to keep our workforce protected, safe and well. We have put in place strong mechanisms for immediate and urgent assistance to employees and their families. We endeavour to stay well connected with our staff during this difficult period and to support them with the best possible medical help and facilities and other aids.”
She added, “While all businesses are people-centric, ours is even more so as ideas, knowledge, and creativity are intrinsic to the business. These can only thrive if our workforce operates from a safe and assured mindset. Towards that, we have continually embraced best practices like flexible work systems, investments in proactive wellbeing initiatives, increased investments in technology and training so that employees can manage their time better and have greater work-life balance.”
