New Delhi: Radico Khaitan, one of the largest manufacturers of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) in India, has been awarded the “Distiller of the Year 2021” for Rampur Indian Single Malt by the Global Icons of Whisky India. As India winners, Radico Khaitan will now represent the country at the World Icons of Whisky to be held in London in March 2021.
Rampur Indian Single Malt, launched in the Indian market in February 2019, is named after Radico Khaitan’s first distillery in Rampur and is aged, distilled and matured in the foothills of the scenic Himalayas. The aroma of Rampur is rich in fruity top note, toffee in the background, floral, honey, dried fruits with a hint of balanced spices. Rampur Indian Single Malt has already bagged ‘Gold Award’ at the “Monde Selection Quality Awards” and a ‘Double Gold’ at the “World Wine & Spirits Awards”.

The maker of 8PM Premium Black and Magic Moments brought home the title “Distiller of the Year 2021” for Jaisalmer Gin as well. In the first two years of its launch itself, Jaisalmer Gin has bagged 6 global recognitions including Gold Medal accolade from The Fifty Best Awards 2020, Best Indian Matured Gin 2020, Best in Asia 2019 (The Gin Guide Awards, UK) and Gold Medal at Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.
