Koffeetech Communications
I was always drawn towards tech and marketing as industries. I developed my first website in 10th grade (in 2007) for a client, marking the beginning of my digital marketing career as a passion. Three years ago, I saw this wave of digitalization in our country with a massive scope of marketing which prompted me to start my own venture to service clients from different industries in their varied digital marketing needs.
What does the nameKoffeetech Communications mean?
The idea behind our agency name is to provide an efficient way of brand communication which is as simple as sipping a cup of coffee. Koffeetech – the word play here is koffee + technology.
What are the other Partnerships?
We have an official search engine partnership with Google, undoubtedly they are the top in this space having a 70 % market share.
How has the industry grown in these 4+ years?
The tech and digital marketing industry are very dynamic in nature and keep on changing from time to time. In order to stay updated, it is vital that we adapt to these trends and start using them in your execution process. Even though your business is well established, being aware of changes happening in and around can help you stay ahead in the race.
For e.g. talking about the new social media trend that is Reels, becoming an instant hit and a new tool for content creation. It is a must for any digital marketer to adapt these trends and start implementing those in the campaigns. Few things that I follow to stay up to the minute on the industry trends are reading newspapers/news sites, listening to podcasts, watching videos, following industry veterans on social media, reading blogs, engaging with the customers, setting up google alerts, networking etc.
How do you plan on optimizing site rankings and increase traffic on websites?
Content is the king! As long as you create top-notch content, you will have visitors coming to the website. In our approach, we follow a similar method for improving site rankings and generating relevant traffic; keeping the target group engaged with quality content blogs, articles and interactive social media channels, creating content with a mobile friendly interface in interest of ease of access to the websites prompting regular engagement
Why social media is important for business and what are the most successful social media platforms?
A primary social media platform varies from brand to brand. For e.g. for a fashion brand, Instagram will be the primary medium for marketing followed by YouTube and Facebook. For a HR solution company, LinkedIn will be at priority in the process. To sum up, the social media platform for a brand depends on what category your services/ product fall into.
Digital media across-the-board is an essential marketing strategy tool but the share of voice varies on what brand you are. One of the biggest benefits of this medium is that it allows any businesses for instant interaction with the audiences and creates an accessible online profile. No matter if you run a small venture or a big brand, it brings you closer to your audience, increases awareness about your product/ service, boosts awareness and eventually generates leads.
Can you tell us about some of your successful social media campaigns?
Successful social media campaigns can be the driving force behind a brand’s success. Right from creating brand awareness, increasing website traffic to brand recognition, a social media campaign does it all.
At Koffeetech, we have been planning and executing social media campaigns for more than five years now, some of those have turned out to be absolute winners. Social media campaign for two of our clients in dental space that is Orthosquare and Flexalign stay on top-of-mind. The initiative of the campaign was to create awareness about the importance of a smile and our plan/ design to reach the maximum attention.
The last year we were hit by the pandemic, how did Koffeetech Communications tackle it?
The covid pandemic has disrupted our normal way of life but in this situation, the virtual world has come to the rescue. This crisis has also created multiple opportunities for businesses and ventures who were able to adapt and alter their course of action to match the new normal.
Business at Koffeetech had been operating at a slower pace due to the panic and fear created across the globe. The work from home scenario, limited resources and the restricted marketing budgets were a few challenges that we faced; however, change creates opportunities and we were able to make the most of it to deliver bespoke ROI based approaches for our clients and emerged victorious as we moved into the third quarter of the year.
Where do you see Koffeetech Communications 5 years down the line?
We are a three year old company but have managed to make a mark for ourselves in the market. Since our inception, we have had a career trajectory that was no short of a rollercoaster; the brand emerged being the trusted choice for 100+ clients in India and international markets. Our aim is to serve all aspects from business marketing to acting as a support vehicle for any business stepping for digital marketing. We are now in the process of expansion with a goal to double in size.
Where I see the company in 5 years, would be a Pan India presence with offices in all the super metros and the Tier I cities and ready to take on the global market. I would also like to have catered to at least one brand/company from the ocean of industries in the market.
What are some of the trends in the public relations industry in the new normal?
The Public Relations industry has encountered a massive evolution in the past decade and has much more to offer in the future. Public Relations is a proven tool of marketing playing an important role in enhancing a brand’s portfolio; there is no doubt it has become an ideal part of a company structure. As PR is dynamic in nature and is continuously evolving, it has taken up more roles and has become an integral part of the communication strategy process however the mediums have evolved.
For e.g. speaking of traditional PR, the professionals reached out to journalists for a feature but in today’s stage they also reach out to bloggers as a part of Influencer marketing. Influencer marketing has been a buzzword for a while now and is now an established form of marketing.
How do you create a pitch and find relevant contacts and sources?
A pitch can either make or break the deal. To be able to explain the idea in a restricted time is what a perfect pitch is about. At Koffeetech Communications, first we understand and research the product, study our target audience, share relevant and personal story narrative with the pitch and lastly, we utilize smart tools for presenting the pitch.
Networking has become an important buzzword in the digital marketing space. It not only allows you to surround yourself with like-minded people with more experience, different skill sets but also helps you in expanding your knowledge. Internet searching, socializing, making the best use of professional relations, word of mouth are a few ways which I opt for when it comes broadening my network base.
How do you handle a social media crisis?
While handling a social media crisis, it is important to take an initiative to address a solution to the crisis rather than piling it on. I believe during such a situation it is always vital to keep the consumer needs first and the business second because if we treat the consumer right and in a genuine way, they will in-return appreciate it and turn into loyal customers and even make it to their consideration set of brands.
