Ministry of Electronics and IT’s showstopper Republic Day Tableau 2021, based on the theme of “Digital India Aatma Nirbhar Bharat” has been conceptualized and designed by ITW Playworx, an Entertainment, Media & Communication arm of ITW Consulting Pvt. Ltd.MeitY’s spectacular3-dimensional tableau has been inspired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of a self-reliant India, and therefore, visualized on the theme of “Digital India Aatma Nirbhar Bharat”. It has been designed under extensive directions and guidance of Abhishek Singh, President & CEO, NeGD, CEO, MyGov and MD, Digital India Corporation, Ministry of Electronics and IT, and his team. The support and inputs received from Singh and his team enabled ITW to ensure the development of an innovative and eye-catching design which made it a showstopper at the parade this year.
ITW Playworx is privileged to be a part of India’s Republic Day parade 2021. As is customary every year, the Republic Day celebrations will commence with the armed forces marching towards Rajpath followed by the ceremonious procession of grand, colorful tableaux presented by the States and the Union Territories, Departments and Ministries that symbolize or reflect India’s historic events, heritage, art culture, environment or highlight achievements of development programs, etc.
MeitY’s Digital India Aatma Nirbhar Bharat tableau depicts the digital revolution that is transforming the nation by making key sectors in India self-reliant and self-sustaining.

The frontal tractor section of MeitY’s dynamic 3-dimensional tableau is led by a 3D model of AI Robot, depicting the digital revolution stirred by the Digital India program. The shoulders of the Robot form gigantic wheels, representing the energetic and spirited movement of a self-reliant India. The body of the robot is powered by one of the most powerful supercomputers in the world, Param Supercomputer, designed in India.
The trailer section of the tableau is designed as if it is resting on a chassis powered by the AI robot in front, with LED walls displaying dynamic content, on both sides of the trolley, showcasing the digital progress of India. In the front portion, a farmer holding a mobile phone is showcased as controlling an AI-powered drone for modern scientific precision farming.
At the end of the trailer section, a modern robotic arm holds an LED display, playing videos of services provided by MeitY. The tableau also highlights key digital services provided by the government such as the AarogyaSetu app, Co-WIN, BHIM, UPI, e-Sanjeevani, e-Vidya, e-Office, CSC, e-Scholarship, and many more. The tableau also features India’s biggest vaccination drive, the Co-Win Vaccination. Under the Covid-19 vaccination drive, the Government of India is using the “Rapid Assessment System (RAS)” of MeitY for taking valuable feedback from those who get vaccinated.
