New Delhi: As the sign of recovery in the economic activity is visible across markets, India Today Group has rolled out appraisal process for its employees in addition to slew of promotions, extended to top management team that includes elevation of Group CFO, Dinesh Bhatia, as Group CEO of India Today Group.
The Vice Chairperson of the India Today Group, Kalli Purie, in her internal mail, addressed to the employees of the organisation announced the rollout of appraisals that comes in to effect from December 2020 and also listed elevations in top management team and other HR benefits.
On rollout of appraisals, Kalli Purie said, “I am looking forward to our annual exercise that acknowledges merit and hard work. So, a big shout out to the efforts of our salesforce heroes that are making this financially viable and allowing me the privilege to declare appraisals. I have sanctioned the encashment of upto 15 days of accumulated leave for all employees. Those not eligible or those who don’t want leave encashment could choose a Diwali voucher. HR will get back to you on the specifics. I feel that leave is not useful this year. For safety, we cannot travel or take holidays. So why not enjoy a shopping spree with additional cash in the security of our homes”
She also unveiled promotions on the Business side with Dinesh Bhatia, the Group CFO has been elevated as the Group CEO – India Today Group. Rahul Shaw, the COO of TVTN, got elevated as the Chief Executive Officer, TV and Radio – TV Today Network (TVTN), Salil Kumar will be Chief Executive Officer, Digital – TVTN, earlier he was COO – Digital, KR Arora will be COO – Distribution and International – TVTN and Yatendra Tyagi will be Chief Financial Officer, TVTN.
Manoj Sharma will be Chief Executive Officer, Magazines, LMI. Various necessary approvals are being initiated towards effecting these changes. All will continue to work in close coordination with Group roles on Legal, Compliance, Financial, People, and Technology matters.
