New Delhi: Signify Innovations India Limited, the world leader in lighting, today announced its latest TVC – ‘Mumkin Hai’ (It’s Possible) for Philips UV-C Disinfection system. The TVC highlights the shift in consumer behavior for advanced hygiene standards and fear of contracting the ‘virus’ through daily objects.
The outstandingly relatable TVC has been developed by Publicis Worldwide India and is aimed towards instilling positivity and hope about a future when one might not need to be extra cautious about surface disinfection. Till then, the campaign suggests that anxieties around contracting viruses can be put to ease by using the Disinfection System that disinfects 99.99% germs including the virus that causes COVID-19.
To cater to the growing demands of innovative disinfection due to the pandemic, Signify, earlier this year, launched the Philips UV-C Disinfection system. It uses the UV-C radiation technology which has been validated to effectively inactivate SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 by NEIDL, Boston University as well as Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Created with state-of-art-technology, the system is easy to use, environment friendly and portable, which disinfects frequently touched objects and personal items in a matter of minutes. Designed and manufactured in India, the new range is another step in the company’s support to the government’s call for self-reliance. The Philips UV-C Disinfection comes in three variants of 10 litres, 15 litres and 30 litres capacity, and is available across e-commerce portals and in select stores.
Speaking on the campaign, Nikhil Gupta, Head of Marketing & Integrated Communications and Commercial Operations, Signify Innovations India Limited said, “While the response on the UV-C Disinfection System so far has been good, we are really excited to see the impact this new TVC will create in the masses. We have created a great solution to address the anxieties around disinfection in the current situation and we aim to reach out to as many people as possible.”
Sridharan Iyer, EVP – Branch Head, Publicis Capital, Delhi further added, “Covid 19 has forced us revisit the definition of health and hygiene, while the world awaits a miracle vaccine/medicine, humans at large have been struggling with the challenge of not just maintaining personal hygiene but also sanitizing anything and everything that comes into their home from outside. In this scenario Philips UV-C Disinfection System has come in as a boon giving hope to every home everywhere. As an agency we are honored to have participated in developing the communication for this path breaking technological intervention.”
