Mumbai: TAM Media Research released their ‘TAM AdEx-Television Advertising Report-III’ for period Jan-Jun’20, the report series focuses on top advertisers during Apr-Jun’20*and the category they belong to, it also deep dives into brands of these top advertisers.
Week 16 (during lockdown 1) registered the highest advertising by Reckitt Benckiser, a sharp increase of more than 3 times in week 24 over week 23.

RB advertised for 30+ brands during April – June 20*, the top brands accounted for 91% share of Ad volumes out of which 7 brands coming from personal and household hygiene. With Dettol Toilet Soaps leading the chart followed by Harpic Bathroom Cleaners and Lizol.

With the top 3 categories together had an 85% share of Ad volumes, the top 3 categories consist of Toilet/Floor cleaners with 40%, Toilet Soaps with 35%, and Antiseptic Creams/Liquids with 10%.
Growing brands of RB
Among the 26 common brands during Jan-Mar’20 and April – June 20*, only 3 brands saw a rise in Ad volumes, Dettol with its range of products saw growth in this period
