CII appoints K Madhavan as the Chair of National Committee on Media & Entertainment 2020-21

Mumbai: K Madhavan, Managing Director, Star & Disney India has been appointed the Chair of National Committee on Media & Entertainment for the year 2020-21 by CII. CII is in the process of forming the CII National Council for 2020-21.

Madhavan has taken the role of Sudhanshu Vats, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Essel Propack Limited.

Madhavan heads the television business for Star & Disney India that is spread across entertainment, sports, and regional channels and the studios business in India. He is also responsible for driving the growth of the business, focussing on innovation, and creating compelling content for consumers.
