After the 45th E-Auction, few prominent GECs namely Star Utsav, Sony Pal, Zee Anmol, Zee Anmol Cinema and Colors Rishtey did a comeback to the FTA DTH platform.
Last year, the broadcasters had decided to step out from the FTA DTH platform as a strategic move and they didn’t want the pay DTH subscribers to shift to the FTA DTH platform after the New Tariff Order came into effect. However, DD Free Dish has continued to blossom with Hindi GEC Dangal TV becoming the top channel in India having its presence on DD Free Dish and other major DTH platforms.
