New York: Agencies and studios in India landed 43 entries on The One Show 2020 finalists list, announced today by The One Club for Creativity.
The complete One Show 2020 finalists list can be viewed here, all finalists win either a One Show Pencil or Merit. The One Show is the year’s largest global awards show in advertising and design, winners will be announced in a special streaming event in mid-June, details to be announced shortly.
FCB India Mumbai with FCB Global New York leads the way in India with 16 finalist entries, all for Mumbai Police “The Punishing Signal”. FCB India Gurgaon has seven, all for The Times Of India “Out and Proud Classified”.
Dentsu Webchutney Bengaluru has five One Show finalists, including three for Swiggy (Bundl Technologies) “Voice of Hunger” and two for Flipkart Internet “Flipkart Hagglebot”. Dentsu Webchutney Mumbai has one for Trigger Happy Entertainment “Code Name: Uri”.
Three finalists go to Famous Innovations Mumbai, two for Doms Stationery “The Master Stroke” and one for Mumbai Press Club “Behind the Photograph”.
Cheil India Gurugram has two One Show finalists, both for Samsung “Now, words aren’t just heard but felt.”. DDB Mudra Group Mumbai has two, one each for Johnson & Johnson ”Project Free Period” and Khalsa Aid “Hashtags Don’t Heal”. Also with two finalists is Ogilvy Gurgaon with Ogilvy Mumbai, both for Pernod Ricard India “The Legacy Project”.
Agencies with one One Show finalist entry each are BBDO India Mumbai for P&G India “Sons #ShareTheLoad”; Carmesi Gurgaon for its own “The Period Girl”; Leo Burnett Mumbai with Prodigious Mumbai for HDFC Bank Parivartan “#STOPMITHANI”; Taproot Dentsu Mumbai for Free Press Journal “Free Initiative” and TBWAIndia Mumbai for NeuroGen Brain and Spine Institute “One Mindful Mind”.
The One Show 2020 juries selected 1,669 finalists representing 46 countries. McCann New York has the most One Show 2020 finalist entries with 61, followed by BBDO New York with 39 and FCB Chicago with 31. The entry with the most finalists spots is Burger King “Moldy Whopper”, created by INGO Stockholm with DAVID Miami and Publicis Bucharest, with 23.

Creative Month 2020
This year’s One Show finalists announcement comes during The One Club’s Creative Month 2020, an expansive streaming event running free of charge May 4-29 featuring a wide range of original creative inspiration, education, gender equality, inclusion & diversity and professional development content specifically developed for a global online audience.
In place of annual in-person Creative Week programming in NYC, The One Club worked with more than 60 top global creative leaders to produce a month of entertaining and engaging original content designed to inform and inspire the global creative community. Sessions will stream at three set times each day and are viewable at any time later from the Creative Month archive.
