Grey Group has elevated Huma Qureshi as the Chief Communications Officer for Grey Group, Asia Pacific (APAC), Middle East and Africa.
Qureshi first joined Grey in 2014 as Regional Director PR & Corp Comms, AMEA. Prior to joining Grey she was associated with Luxury furniture brand Roche Bobois.
She is credited for the PR of several campaigns including ”Life-Saving Dot” for which the agency received a Bronze PR Lion at Cannes and most recently for the ‘Agrobanking’ campaign which scored a Gold PR Spikes at SpikesAsia 2019.
“PR, story-telling, communication as a whole has become an increasingly important voice in our industry,” Qureshi told BIA.
“When it hits the mark and resonates with the consumer, it forms a personal connection that opens doors to brand loyalty and customer retention despite a competitive environment, and it builds a stellar reputation based around the branding that can stay with the company for decades.”
“I am grateful and fortunate to have been given the opportunity to do what I love with the support and talent of the people I work with at Grey. We are seeing an industry that is evolving and communications in various forms is going to be the key that differentiates one company from another.”
Huma Qureshi is a Cannes Lions award-winning, versatile public relations and corporate communications director with a background in Public & Strategic Communications, Finance (investment Banking) and Entrepreneurship with Agency as well as In-house Brand experience.
