Mumbai: Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians has bagged a sponsorship deal worth INR 100 crore with Marriot Bonvoy and Astral Pipes.
Mumbai Indians is the only Indian sports franchise to achieve a deal as big as one billion. The logo of the company will be seen on the right side of the players’ jerseys.
According to a Mumbai Indians spokesperson, the contract with Marriot Bonvoy is for three years. Sources say the financial details of the association weren’t revealed, but the deal with Marriot Bonvoy is worth INR 30 crore.
The logo of Astral Pipes will be on the non-leading arm of the players. Earlier Samsung was MI’s lead sponsor for a period of three years at INR 75 CR.
Viacom18, Hindi GEC COLORS, Reliance Jio, Sharp, Usha International, Burger King and William Lawson are some of the other sponsors that will be supporting the Mukesh Ambani owned IPL Franchise.
