Pankaj Krishna, Founder and CEO, Chrome DM lists his Focus points for 2020.
Digitization
I think not only the television industry but all industries are going through a phase of what you call true digitization. Effectively that means any element of work in which human involvement is an iterative process would become redundant within the next half of this decade and may be even less. My focus for Chrome DM at this point in time is to digitize processes, which are not limited to television since we are working outside of television as well; to automate processes, to build AI wherever possible. Having said that, there is a huge gap of HI, which is nothing but Human Intelligence.
Anything any process that involves middleman would eventually cease to exist because digitization in its true sense would do a better job out of that on the back of AI and obviously a little bit of Hi to execute that AI.
Big Data
We are working on the true definition of Big data. It speeds up processes. We have launched XAAS – Software as a Service across two verticals – one of them being broadcasting as well, which is doing phenomenally well. We have planned to invest more in SAAS. We also plan to invest hugely on technology building extremely user friendly interfaces layered on top of big data across Broadcasting, Brands and some other divisions that we are launching very soon.
Creating Actionable Data for clients
Our focus will be on organizing the unorganized which basically means consolidating bits and pieces of information and actionable data which is lying scattered and consolidating that into one platform that provides our clients data that enables them to make business decisions.
Ethics
The value of ethics and there are age old sayings and whatever you sow today eventually comes back to you. That’s very important and is something that people need to understand today. Follow ethics and that’s a key ingredient on the path to success. Why carry bad Karma? This is mind-set I instil in my team across Chrome DM.
Ethics is more on the Karma side. On the Kriya side, we encourage all our colleagues to keep themselves healthy with the air they breathe, the water they drink, the food they eat, and their own thinking– that’s all there is to their body. There is no medicine. There is no doctor who could help you in any form. It’s all about these four things – the air you breathe, the water you drink, the food you eat, and the thoughts you get. If all of that is clean and all of that is right. There is no disease that can sustain inside you. It’s all about the mind-set of leadership that I truly believe in and will be continued Focus on in 2020.
