News7 Tamil was launched on 30th October 2014. It broadcasts News, Discussion, Debate, Documentary and other Infotainment Programmes.
Reflecting its motto “Porupum Pothunalanum” (Responsibility and Public welfare), the channel also acknowledges outstanding achievements of people who dedicate themselves towards society and humanity with signature award properties that includes‘Thangatharagai Awards’ for Women empowerment, ‘NalamViruthugal’ for Doctors and their service in the filed of medicine, ‘Tamil Ratna Awards’ for achievers across various sectors in Tamil Nadu.
