Bangalore: The Co-founder and CTPO of Urban Ladder, Rajiv Srivatsa, is moving on from the company. His exit follows barely a month after the departure of its president, Ajit Joshi.
Eight years before he along with his fellow IIT mate AshishGoel, co-founded the online furniture retailer.
Announcing his exit through a LinkedIn post Srivatsa said, “The last 8 years have been an outstanding journey building Urban Ladder (UL). I will transition out of my active leadership role as CTPO at UL at the end of this month, I will continue to be an engaged shareholder and Board member, and work with Ashish on strategic initiatives.”
Recently, Urban Ladder had disbanded some verticals and laid off hundreds of people at the time. Urban Ladder had also restructured its business, including moving towards a lower price point to stay competitive, laying off a fourth of its workforce, and shutting down high-cost initiatives like cash on delivery, and exiting from unprofitable cities.
