TUV India Pvt Ltd part of TÜV NORD GROUP, the leading technical Inspection, Certification and Testing organization is now also a TEC designated Conformity Assessment Body with testing facilities for Telecom Products.
TEC stands for Telecommunication Engineering Centre which is a nodal technical agency of Department of Telecommunications, Government of India, which prepares specification of common standards with regard to Telecom network equipment and its allied services corresponding to respective ITU-T (International Telecommunication Union-Standardization Sector).
TUV India Electronics and Electrical Product Testing Laboratory covers products under telecom network equipment like routers, servers, stop watch, UPS, Point of sales device, G3 Fax Machine, LAN Switch, Cordless Phones and Mobile Phones etc. for Safety, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
“With this recognition from TEC, TUV India can support Indian telecom market to test their equipment as per the requirements for certification prescribed by TEC. Telecom equipment manufacturers; importers and dealers can now submit their products at TEC designated TUV India Product Testing Laboratory for testing their products,” expressed Manish Bokade, Head – Product Testing Laboratory.
