New Delhi: The IRS 2019 Q2 results reaffirm the trust of print readers in all HT Media publications with Hindustan continuing to be the 2nd largest newspaper in India with total readership (TR) of 5.29 Cr.
Hindustan continues to be No.1 in Bihar and Uttarakhand, and a strong No.2 in UP, Jharkhand and Delhi.
Hindustan continues to be the No. 1 Hindi Daily in Bihar with AIR (Average Issue Readership) of 48 Lacs including No. 1 in Patna city with AIR of 2.7 lacs. In Uttrakhand as well, Hindustan continues to hold its No. 1 position with AIR of 7.5 Lacs.
Hindustan has yet again emerged as the no. 2 most read Hindi daily in Uttar Pradesh with AIR of 83 lacs, in Jharkhand with AIR of 10.5 lacs and in Delhi with AIR of 7 lacs.
HT Media Group’s English daily, Hindustan Times continues to make strides in all the major markets, which validates the faith of the readers who have made it the No. 1 daily in Delhi-NCR, the No. 1 daily in Punjab including Chandigarh and a strong No. 2 in Mumbai.
In Delhi-NCR, Hindustan Times continues to be the undisputed No. 1 newspaper for the 17th time and is the most read daily with 17 lacs.
HT continues to strengthen its presence in Punjab and has emerged the No. 1 newspaper of the region yet again with an AIR of 3.5 Lacs.
In Mumbai, HT continues to remain a strong No. 2 with an AIR of 8.7 Lacs.
Mint, HT Media Group’s business daily consolidated its No. 2 position among the leading business dailies in India with an Average Issue readership of 3.1 Lacs.
