Pune: Bajaj Finserv, one of India’s leading financial services group, launched the #StrikeOutChampionship campaign earlier this month to spread awareness on the healthcare issues affecting children in India. After the success of the first challenge of the campaign, which engaged more than 6 million people through various digital channels, Bajaj Finserv has now launched the second challenge – ‘Tongue Twister’ – which focuses on the issue of malnutrition amongst the children in India.
Actress Neha Dhupia launched the second challenge though an Instagram story and urged her followers to take up the challenge. One can participate in the second challenge by posting a video of themselves saying the tongue twister ‘Better fed bellies make Bachpan better’ on their social media handles. Participants have to tag @Bajaj_Finserv and use the hash tag #Strike Out Championship when they post the videos and challenge their friends for further awareness on the cause. The participants can earn points through various activities related to taking the challenges and sharing it on social network.
The month-long campaign, #StrikeOutChampionship is aimed to strike out hunger, malnutrition, preventive diseases, stunting and to defeat the childhood suffering owing to ill health. The first challenge successfully captured the attention people, with over 4000 posts across social media platforms. The ‘Tongue Twister’ challenge is expected to have a bigger reach and create more thought-provoking conversations after the overwhelming response of the first challenge. The third and final challenge will soon follow and will be equally interactive. The participants of the first challenge can participate in the second and third challenge as well, the contenders with maximum number of points from all three challenges would be declared as the champion of the #StrikeOutChampionship.
To further the cause of ‘Better Health for Children’, Bajaj Finserv has partnered with multiple NGOs in India to eradicate hunger, poverty, malnutrition, preventable diseases and other healthcare issues that impact children. Some of the NGO partners include Smile Train India, Umang Foundation, Ummeed Child Development center, Sangath, Cuddles Foundation and Hrudaya Foundation.
