New Delhi: Sambit Mohanty has decided to move on from J Walter Thompson India as National Creative Director.
He joined the organisation in January 2017, based out of J Walter Thompson’s Gurgaon office, reporting to Senthil Kumar, chief creative officer, JWT India.
In his advertising career spanning 20 years, Mohanty has worked with DDB Mudra, Bates Asia, McCann Worldgroup, Elephant Design, Leo Burnett, Publicis and Lowe Lintas, among others. During his stint with J Walter Thompson, he created noteworthy campaigns such as Lost Votes for The Times of India, Tata Steel -We Also Make Tomorrow, Facebook Thumb stoppersetc.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) New Delhi, Mohanty has spent 18 years in the advertising and design industry. He has profound understanding of the industry across verticals including mainstream, digital and shopper marketing.
Mohanty has been acknowledged by 4Ps business magazine as one of ‘India’s Gen-Next Creative Brains’.
