Rediffusion Group has appointed Neeraj Sharma as Head of Planning. He will report into the group’s Jt. Presidents, Navonil Chatterjee and Rahul Jauhari.
Neeraj joins the group from Ogilvy’s 82.5 communications where he helped shape the strategy for many iconic and heritage brands like Bisleri, ACC, Vespa, Cipla and Franklin Templeton. The Bisleri work “Jo Bisleri nahi, wo peena nahi” is already winning multiple awards in award circles.
With his stint at DDB Mudra he worked on many Johnson & Johnson brands like Johnson’s Baby, Clean & Clear, Neutrogena etc. He helped Clean & Clear take on the leader and become no.2 brand in Facewash quickly and also won an Effie for it. He learnt and honed his digital strategy working on the biggest baby care brand Johnson’s Baby to complement his mainline strategy (if you insist that they are very different)
Navonil Chatterjee, Jt. President& Chief Strategy Officer, Rediffusion, on the appointment says, “We are delighted to have a poet-planner amongst us in Neeraj, that too someone whom the great Gulzar had called up personally!
