Mumbai: WATConsult, the digital and social media agency from Dentsu Aegis Network won 6 metals across Advocacy, Mobile, Social Media and Health & Wellness categories at the Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards, 2019.
The agency won a ‘gold’ and a ‘silver’ metal for its #KidsNotForSale campaign, created for Snapdeal and Save the Children (NGO), in Advocacy category under the Humanity and Culture Cluster and in the social media category respectively. Their #PowerlessQueen campaign too bagged a silver metal in the Advocacy category along with 2 bronze metals (1 each) in mobile and social media categories. It doesn’t stop there, their suicide prevention campaign, Give Subtitle’s to Suicide, also bagged a bronze in Health and wellness category.
With a total of 6 wins, WATConsult shined as the highest award winning agency from India at this Philippines based, prestigious award show. Interestingly, the agency’s these three campaigns are also one of the contenders at Cannes Lions 2019.
The Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards that is known for recognising creative and effective brands with purpose, is an award show that began in Manila in 2005 and opened to the Asia Pacific region in 2012. The Tambuli (a native Filipino horn), is organized by the School of Communication of the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) in collaboration with industry partners.
