Celebrating Bengal’s passion of music, Star Jalsha has announce the launch of its music talent hunt show – ‘Super Singer Junior’ – a unique platform for Bengal’s truly gifted voices of tomorrow. The talent show will showcase young prodigies who were shortlisted amongst thousands of talented singers selected from the auditions held at eight zones namely, Jalpaiguri, Siliguri, Maldah, Nabadweep, Durgapur, Chandannagar, Midnapore and Kolkata.
These shortlisted uncut gems are now being mentored and groomed to shine, not only with their voice but also with their performance, by a pool of renowned singers. Kumar Sanu, Jeet Gaanguli and Kaushiki Chakraborty – names which have kept Bengal at the forefront of the music scene in the nation, form the judges panel of Super Singer Junior. They will take the responsibility to evaluate these little wonders and provide them with the right feedback during their journey towards super stardom. Rooqma Ray will present and host this show.
Super Singer Junior is being produced by Subhankar Chatterjee Productions, a leading production house in Bengal, which has carved a niche in the Bengali Entertainment Industry by presenting diverse nonfiction format shows and events.

Super Singer Junior begins on 1st June, airs every Saturday and Sunday from 8.30 pm on Star Jalsha.
