Bangalore: Star Suvarna, the Kannada GEC channel of the Star network which is known for its differentiated and wholesome family entertainment is bringing yet another thought provoking and entertaining prime time fiction show. The channel is launching a new fiction show Aramane Gili’ starting 20thMay at 9pm.Famous tele and movie personality Pavitra Lokesh is on board to play a pivotal role in the show. After a brief gap Pavitra Lokesh is seen donning a major role in a Kannada tele-show.
She says, ‘there were a plenty of offers, but nothing interesting came my way, I didn’t want to do the regular villain role and was waiting for a major character that is exciting and which would challenge me. Positive characterization and the very evident efforts of the director and the producer made me sign up for Meenakshamma’s role in Aramane Gili’.
Aramane Gili is a story of Meera who is forcibly married to a paraplegic aristocrat whose family has many enemies inside and outside. Set in a fictious pastoral town chandrapurawhich today boasts ofthe best education institutions in the state, due to the efforts of Meenakshamma. Meera proves qualifications makes one literatebut not necessarily educated.
Yogesh Raj and Varshika will be seen in the lead roles as Arjun and Meera respectively. Aramane Gili is Produced by K. Gangadhar who has already presented a successful show like Satyam Shivam Sundaram and directed by Nagesh Krishna.
