Mumbai : Chrome Data Analytics And Media Optimal+ India’s largest primary research and data analytics company conducted a study on Top Ads of the week, involving 34000 panel homes across the country for week 13, the survey unveils results of brands under three broad categories namely most watched ads, most aired ads and the most liked ads. The research also throws light on the performances of brands against week 12.
Chrome Optimal+ study shows that Reckitt Benckiser’s disinfectant Lizol has stepped up to the leadership slot followed by the political party Telugu Desam, reflecting the heat of the fast approaching Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Hotstar Specials has retained its last week position in the 3rd slot, with new entrants Vimal Elachi Pan Masala and Lalitha Jewelery standing as the 4th and 5th respectively most aired ads in week 13. However, Hotstar.com, Kia Motors and Appy Fizz are seen exiting from the most aired ads list this week.
Taking a look at the most watched ads category, Colgate emerges as the most watched ads this week with Frooti being the 2nd most watched ad. Appy Fizz is seen dropping to the 3rd slot from its 2nd position in week 12. Amazon and Rasna Instant Ener -G have occupied the 4th and 5th positions in the most watched ads category in week 13. Brands like Everest Shahi Paneer Masala, Tide Plus Extra Power , Pampers Baby Dry Pants and Surf Excel Easy Wash did not manage to feature in the most watched ads list in week 13.
In week 13 the most liked category list is dominated by new entrants in all the 5 positions while it is also observed that none of the brands ranked the first 5 places in the most liked category list featured in the most aired list this week. Frooti emerged a leader in the most liked category, while Rasna Instant Ener -G becomes the 2nd most liked ad followed by Voltas Adjustable Inverter, news and local language content discovery application Dailyhunt and Sprite.
