Mumbai: The 6 Pack Band, India’s first transgender band, and 6 Pack Band 2.0, India’s ‘isspeshal’ band, by Jet Synthesys’ Music Boutique and Yash Raj Films, performed for Paul Polman’s farewell at Hindustan Unilever in Mumbai. Attended by all HUL employees, the event marked a tribute to Paul Polman, former CEO of Unilever, celebrating his decade long contribution to the company and especially Unilever Sustainable Living Plan.
Curated and composed by Shameer Tandon, the 6 Pack Band comprises of Fida Khan, Ravina Jagtap, Asha Jagtap, Chandni Suvarnakar, Komal Jagtap and Bhavika Patil. 6 Pack Band 2.0 features Ananya Halarnkar, Anjali Ramesh, Maitreya Matale, Paarth Padhye, Prerna Agarwal and Rishaan Patil. One of the 6 Pack Band and 2.0’s greatest/ biggest success stories is its music for HUL’s flagship tea brand Brooke Bond Red Label. The advertisement featuring 6 Pack Band and 2.0 went on to receive international recognition at the Cannes Festival of Creativity.

The success of 6 Pack Band has travelled to countries around the world – from being the only Indian performance at the Cannes Festival 2017 to winning the Cannes Grand Prix Glass Lions Award and nine Emvies Awards. With 30 million views on YouTube, the 6 Pack Band’s songs have featured celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Anushka Sharma, Sonu Nigam, Arjun Kapoor, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Zanai Bhosle in the past.
6 Pack Band 2.0 has collaborated across film, television and radio featuring Karan Johar, Rani Mukherjee, Tiger Shroff, Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani, Mika Singh, Nakuul Mehta, Drashti Dhami, Rithvik Dhanjani, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Manish Paul, Rannvijay Singha, Anusha Dandekar, RJ Malishka and even Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. Today, the band has garnered over 45 million views on YouTube and is all set to inspire with their infectious spirit, energy, drive and passion in their upcoming music video with Shameer Tandon and Yash Raj Films.
