Mumbai : IWMBuzz TV-Video Summit and Awards, in association with BARC India, saw stalwarts from the M&E industry in attendance. The first of its kind initiative brought industry veterans under one roof, to discuss the evolution of television in India, future roadmap, and also recognize the best efforts in content creation in the past year.
IWMBuzz.com, the online publication covering Indian television and web entertainment space successfully hosted its first TV-Video Summit and Awards. This first of its kind TV conclave and award was held on 16 January 2019, at Sahara Star, Mumbai.
The summit witnessed in attendance some of the most revered names from the television and media industry, addressed some of the most pertinent questions for the TV industry. Industry leaders discussed, ideated and talked about their vision for the future of the sector.
The awards recognized the best efforts in content creation, across leader and popular categories.
The awards were unique as BARC India metrics were used to decide the top nominees and post a rigorous audience poll, winners were decided as per a weightage formula tabulated by EY. The final winners were announced during the gala awards night on 16th.
