Kochi: Kerala’s formidable media group Mathrubhumi organised its second edition of “Re-Imagine the future” initiative at the Indian Public School, Kochi. The multi-platform spanning initiative was to inspire and educate parents and children on a wide range of exciting careers besides the norms of tradition.
The initiative was in a TED talk format which included participation from eminent personalities including Actor extraordinaire Prakash Raj, Indian football genius Sunil Chhetri, Comedic genius Ramesh Pisharody. The speakers shared their stories of how they forged their own path and found success outside the norms of traditional careers, their stories inspired parents and kids to broaden their horizons and explore a whole new world of exciting alternative careers.
The event was streamed live on Facebook LIVE at 4 locations including Kochi, Thrissur, Trivandrum and Calicut where over 2000 students watched it and the same garnered over 50,000 views online.
Last year, the campaign was anchored around a shareable activation film featuring the country’s most progressive fancy dress competition which garnered over 3.6 million views on our social media page and brought in people with alternate careers like ethical hacking, food designing, wedding planners, fitness trainers who shared their success stories with 50 schools across Kerala.

The initiative was held in association with Horlicks, Muthoot Motors and Novotel Kochi Infopark.
