Mumbai: Channel 31 in Kazakhstan has acquired the Star India drama Ishqbaaz (The Love Gamblers).Star India’s syndication partner for Russia and the CIS, Intellecta, had executed the syndication deal between the two parties.
Ishqbaaz is running successfully on Star Plus since June 2016 and so far it has completed 650 Episodes telecast.
“We have a very strong partnership with Channel 31 and have a lot of success stories together,” says Christina Vlahova, the CEO of Intellecta. “We are happy that they have chosen The Love Gamblers because it is a different Indian TV series with a lot of outside scenes, a lot of luxury settings and not one but three parallel love stories for the viewers to enjoy.”
Anna Aliyeva, Content Procurement Manager at Channel 31, noted, “In Kazakhstan, Indian series are of great interest, especially for women from 18 to 60 years. The title we have chosen for the series in Kazakhstan is Gigitter(Brothers).”
