Mumbai: Hello FM, the leading private FM Radio Network owned by Chennai based Malar publications has appointed Suresh Rao as its Regional Head – West to beef up its sales force.
Suresh Rao will be responsible for amplifying the revenue prospects of Hello FM in Western Region, which is one of the largest and lucrative market loaded with huge volume of ad spend. He took charge of the new assignment effective from 9th November 2018. Rao will be reporting to Sathish Anbarasan – National Sales Head of Hello FM.
Prior to joining Hello FM, Suresh Rao was associated with Fourth Dimensions Media Solutions as Asst Vice President – Sales for the past 7 years. Rao comes with over 15 years of Media experience.
Hello FM, headed by its CEO – Rajeev Nambiar, is operating from various locations across Tamil Nadu and it is licensed to use the FM band frequency of 106.4, 92.7 and 91.5 MHz.
It started in 2006 broadcasting from Chennai and Coimbatore. Later, in 2007 it expanded its broadcast to other cities in Tamil Nadu such as Madurai, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi and to the union territory of Puducherry.
After the Phase III auctions – Hello FM has expanded its presence in Erode, Salem and Vellore and plans to add few more under served towns in near future.
